SRCAV Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) Update. AgileCast has been appraised that the Carter Aviation/AgileCast Fiscal Year 2008 JCTD candidate remains among 21 finalists competing for OSD/Combatant Command and Service sponsorship. The JCTD proposal is designed to demonstrate advanced joint-warfighting capability within three years, and leverages the unique aerial platform capabilities of CarterCopter’s slowed-rotor compound aircraft technologies—to include unprecedented range, payload, speed, and endurance for a rotary-wing UAV system. Special sensor payloads have been proposed for demonstration aboard SRCAV that respond to existing Joint Urgent Operational Need for deployed forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. SRCAV remains the #1 JCTD priority of US Central Command.
